B.B.N. Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is committed to maintaining a safe, productive, and healthy workplace. To achieve this goal, all employees must be physically and mentally capable of performing their job duties in a satisfactory and safe manner.

Assessment of Fitness for Duty

If an employee is observed by management to be potentially unfit for duty, they may be placed on medical leave until a proper medical assessment is completed and/or an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) referral is made.
Emergency medical care will be obtained immediately if there is any indication of acute illness or impairment that may threaten the safety of the employee or others.

Alcohol and Substance Use

While on B.B.N. Engineering Pvt. Ltd. premises or conducting company-related business off-site:

  • Employees must not use, possess, distribute, sell, or be under the influence of alcohol.

  • Employees must not unlawfully manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess, or use any controlled substance or illegal drug.

Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including immediate termination of employment, and/or mandatory participation in a substance abuse treatment program, including full compliance with all recommendations.

Prescription and Over-the-Counter Medication

The legal use of prescribed or over-the-counter medication is permitted only if it does not impair an employee’s ability to:

  • Perform essential job functions effectively and safely

  • Avoid creating a safety hazard for themselves, coworkers, clients, or others

Employees using medication that may affect performance or safety are responsible for notifying their supervisor. If a physician determines that the employee cannot perform essential job duties safely due to medication side effects or the underlying condition, the employee will be placed on medical leave until they are fully able to return to work.

Medical Conditions and Accommodation

Employees with medical conditions are encouraged to work collaboratively with their supervisors to explore reasonable accommodations to help them continue working safely and effectively. All efforts will be made to support employees while maintaining a safe workplace environment.
